Software Developer -linux/perl/db Skills
Oracle's Documentation Processes team is looking for a person to work on DocArch, an in-house application that provides writers with a platform to archive documentation meant to be published on Oracle Technology network (docs.oracle.com) and provides several tools to validate the contents to ensure quality and standards. Skills Requirements: - Good Linux system administration and Linux command skills - Good Perl programming skills, particularly with Web application development and DBD::Oracle - Good Oracle Database skills Soft skills: Easy to get along with. Can track their own deliverables. Good organization and communication skills that keeps management and the business stakeholders apprised of the ongoing progress their projects (got your request, working on your request, please review my work, thanks for confirming, etc.). Ability to work with people in different timezones.
