Job Description :
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
The Fusion Applications System Testing Team will mainly focus on the following aspects of Fusion Apps. An engineer may work on one more more of the following areas:
1. War Room SaaS Testing - As part of patch delivery to Cloud Ops, team have to validate and certify patches delivered to Cloud. Team have to setup and test them in Ops kind of environment.
2. Functional Validation - As part of certifying latest FMW tech stack drops to Fusion Apps teams, we will validate the functionality of all the product families using the War Room environments, specifically setup for this testing purpose.
3. Install/Configuration - Setup the Fusion Apps environments using the Provisioning framework/ANT scripts and host these environments across all the FMW QA teams for functional validations
4. Identity Management Integration - Integrate FusionApps with Oracle Access Manager (OAM) for Single Sign On (SSO), with Oracle Internet Directory (OID) for identity store, with Authorization Policy Manager (APM) for policy management, and with Oracle Web Service Manager (OWSM) to protect web services. Complicated cross-product and cross-domain scenarios will be involved.
5. Enterprise Deployment Guide - reference topology and implementation for the field with high availability and security. This would involve various High Availability and Security solutions.
6. Life Cycle Operations - Backup and Recovery, Cloning, Production to Test, Production to Stage and Content export and import, few other utilities....
7. Enterprise Manager (EM) Integration for the above areas.
8. Automation - Automate the test cases for the above areas.
9. Security Penetration Test - Test for security vulnerabilities like Denial of Service Attack, Cross-Site Scripting, SQL Injection and weak encryption, etc
10. High Availability - ensure FusionApps work in a cluster environment and against RAC database, with FusionApps cluster behind load balancer. We will run both positive and negative tests. The product is supposed to work well under partial app/server/network outage.
As a Member Technical staff, the role demands technical hands-onskills in developing automation using frameworks based on advanced J2EE and Web2.0 technologies.
