Job Description:
Responsible for design and development of QueryGrid and other database features to the Teradata RDBMS product. Participate in analysis, design, code, test major software components according to a standard development process, with focus to enhancing the testability and quality. Gain deep skills in the existing product by way of reverse engineering the code and developing a sound knowledge for design and development of the product testability. Projects will typically be individual or few team members and the candidate will be expected to work closely with technical leader with reporting to manager.
Education Requirements:
B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics.
Experience:
Minimum experience of at least 3 years with exposure to good software development.
Skill set requirements:
Required
Strong experience in programming with C and C++.
Excellent creative, analytical, problem solving and strong debugging skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to independently come up with solutions based on complexity and performance considerations.
Works well in a team environment
Experienced should have good software development skills including analysis, design specification, coding, testing.
