This is a position of IT System & Software Engineer, who would have the responsibility to manage and support several IT Infrastructure domain tools and technologies which includes
Collaboration Platforms: MS SharePoint, Unified Communication & Mobile Device Management
IT Service management: BMC Remedy, Project management, Service Communication
System & Network management: MS Windows/UNIX/Linux, Router, Firewall, Data backup
At the outset this individual will be exposed to fundamental Infrastructure domain technologies and require to participate in new technology rollouts & tools implementations. This position entails him/her to take part in system evaluation/automation/ Invention activities undertaken by the team and present papers on the usefulness of these tools and technologies within the organization.
This person would be fully integrated with TEIS Infrastructure & Operations team and will take an active participation in various technology initiatives. Work with various technology groups to develop advance competency in assigned IT infrastructure areas.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in the evaluation, deployment, and administration of TEIS tools and technologies
Responsible for successful system implementations, support and maintenance
Participation in project teams for new rollouts and collaboration on solution design with TEIS teams globally
Develop understanding with Emerging technologies such as Cloud computing, Big Data, Service automation etcetera
Represent Infrastructure & Operations team in technology meetings happening within TEIS to know the needs of its customers and provide inputs to technology groups
Take part in TE Process improvement initiatives, apply these methodologies to introduce efficiencies and eliminate waste
