Micro Focus Hiring C Developer
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Role:
Play a key role in Novell's flagship product, eDirectory. This position will be responsible for providing Technical Leadership to the development team activities. This role is treated on par with first line Management positions in terms of rewards, recognition, visibility and influence, but without any people Management responsibility. Directory being a cross platform product, work provides excellent opportunity to understand Linux, Windows, Solaris and AIX along with flexibility to use preferred operating system as development environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Play a key role in influencing the Business Unit’s future direction, strategy and planning
- Identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Develop and own eDirectory features
- Producing Design Documents.
- Providing input for product documentation
- Reviewing requirements and design documents
- Researching customer issues
- Proactively analyze current processes and practices and suggest improvements/additional processes.
- Researching new product enhancements
Experience & Skills:
2-8 years of experience
Experience with communication protocols such as LDAP, TCP/IP.
Knowledge of distributed system, replication protocols and object oriented database.
Excellent C/C++ programming skills, application layer debugging skills on Linux and Windows.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills with a passion to excel in technical path.
