Qualifications & Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science
Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting or enhancing or adding new features in PDE on all supported platforms
Design, develop, code, test & debug system software
Provide pre and post production support
Participate in design, feature and test specification documents
Requirements
2 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in R&D based teams
Solid programming experience in C/C++
Strong debugging experience, both at user level (using GDB) and kernel level (using crash)
Very good understanding and working knowledge in Linux OS internals
Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, & peer review tools
Strong analytical abilities involving complex software in a parallel processing environment
Ability to work effectively in a team
Preferred skills
Working knowledge in Python & Perl
Understanding of RDBMS concepts
SQL Knowledge
Agile methodology and Scrum
