Job Description :
Quality Assurance/Testing of System Firmware suite of products for HP servers
Key Responsibilities
Test case design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration
Design , documentation , review and automation of test cases for assigned features
To get the Hardware setup ready for the test cycle.
Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities
Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution
Desired:
Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years experience
Good Understanding of hardware, firmware and its components
Working knowledge on firmware testing and approaches
Experience in QA function for OS/firmware based components
Working knowledge of OS system level concepts - Windows, Linux
Scripting Perl/Shell/QTP working knowledge
Good analytical, problem solving & debugging skills
Writing and evaluating forms and processes for testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
