Job Description :
The Data Services Operations Team is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of asset security data for BlackRock and the clients of BlackRock Solutions. This includes ensuring the accuracy of all terms and conditions asset data for all known asset types, ensuring accurate market data supplied from various suppliers, including asset data and pricing data, and / or capturing trade files for processing within our trading system from external money managers. The Data Services Team is responsible for the integrity of all asset data, utilized by internal and external clients for both trading and managing portfolio risk
Key responsibilities:
Understanding various tools and application used in the process
Work with different global team to understand the process concept and implications
Open to support (any shift) and show case ownership during peak volumes season
Knowledge/ Experience required:
Candidate must have enthusiasm for, and comfort with, working at a fast and furious pace while maintaining quality and the integrity of investment data
Candidate must have flexibility regarding their work hoursCandidate must be able to work multiple shifts at different times throughout the year
Candidate must have the ability to quickly learn the intricacies of complex financial instruments and adapt their technical ability quickly
Good communication skills to enable clear articulation while working with internal and external clients and good writing skills to draft mails.
Be able to work and deliver under minimal supervision/independently
Good understanding of Financial Instruments in US or Indian Market
Skills/ Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Commerce is must or MBA from any university is added advantage
SQL/Unix is an added advantage
