Java, Multi Threading Expert.
Seeking a core Java developer with 4-6 years of experience with demonstrated skills in developing highly sophisticated financial systems. Experience in application development and implementation on Linux or Unix platform Knowledgeable of system internals (e.g. threading, serialization, collections, memory management etc.), structured programming, sound design principles Proficient in concurrent and distributed programming in Java Experience in Java Swing Strong ability to learn existing applications quickly and to be able to make modification Excellent analytical, troubleshooting skill. Ability to work independently
Knowledge in C, C++ Experience with high-speed/high-performance programming Experience with Tibco or other data delivery systems Experience with FIX protocol Experience with performance tuning
Acting as a senior developer Able to work both independently and as a member of a team Participating in design discussions and produce architecture/design artifacts Coding and testing components Working closely with business users, other developers and QA Capable of multi-tasking and working under high pressure Able to quickly analyze issues and debug / solve problems and reduce impact in trading Knowledge of other languages such as (e.g. C#, C++) is a plus.
