As a Developer you will be a key member of our growing mobile engineering team, responsible for developing internet scale solutions using cutting edge technologies. This is a position that requires fluency in the latest web capabilities and technologies. The ideal candidate is motivated to explore and deliver the best possible solutions to our users. This role is focused on the creation of web/backend applications in support of Cvents mobile application portfolio.
Cvents Technology Team is a great opportunity for you to:
Work on Internet scale applications, where performance, reliability and scalability, are critical design goals not after-thoughts.
Create beautiful, interactive and easy-to-use web applications using rich client-side code and MVC based server-side code.
Learn the nuts and bolts of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) in real-life applications.
Gain experience with different database technologies, ranging from traditional relational to the latest NoSQL products such as MongoDB and Redis.
2-5 year of programming experience in two or more of the following: Java, Spring, Hibernate/ Python/Ruby/C/C++,
Data structure and algorithm knowledge/experience is a must.
Knowledge of Javascript framework (Angular.Js or Ember.Js) is a plus.
Knowledge of Linux command line is desirable.
Experience or knowledge of one or more of the following databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis or other NoSQL technologies.
B.Tech, M.Tech in Computer Science OR related technical discipline
