Job Description:
The DE Meters engineering team is responsible for design, develop & validate the Smart Meter configuration application MeterMate. This role is for design & development of the MeterMate application which involves coding, creation of design documentation, analysis, issue resolution and daily status reporting.
Essential Responsibilities
Work jointly with Hyderabad and Global Design teams
- Design MeterMate features
- Coding of the MeterMate new features using C#.net
- Perform unit testing and maintain the test logs
- Trouble shooting for any issues identified
- Supporting the manufacturing team
- Work in collaboration with the validation team
- Active participation in design discussions
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
-0-1 years of experience
- Knowledge on Energy meters and Distribution network
-Ability to work independently and should be a good team player
-Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
-Understanding of version/configuration control concepts and the need for accurate tracking of software updates and releases
-Should possess strong written and verbal communication.
-Strong understand of SDLC process and knowledge on Agile
-Strong troubleshooting and root causing skills
Desired Characteristics
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
· Six Sigma training
· Strong problem solving and math skills
· Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
