Job Description:
Tasks :
1. Assist in the development of new customer features
- Identify requirements from customer requests
- Design, implement, and unit test feature implementation
2. Support and enhance current features
- Assist the support team on level 3 customer issues
- Actively refractor and improve existing code
Mandatory Skills
Strong Core Java concepts
Solid experience in object oriented programming, design patterns
Experience with developing Eclipse plug-ins
Hands on experience in RCP, eclipse plugin development
Knowledge of Eclipse key frameworks, particularly UI, e.g., SWT, JFace, Forms, Editor
In-depth experience in XML and related technologies
Able to work well both independently and with the team to ensure quality
Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills
Must be highly collaborative, pragmatic and delivery focused
Additional Skills
MUST have strong knowledge of JUNIT Framework
Good analytical & communication skills (oral & written)
Experience in the use of Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF), XMLJET
Hands on using a bug-tracking tool Bugzilla for tracking.
