Experience On Java/J2EE applications and testing.
2-3 years experience in Java optimization and tuning
Proficiency with middleware /application servers like weblogic/Websphere/JOBSS server configuration and tuning recomendations.
Profile applications using a Java application profiler tool and provide recommendations for code changes
High level knowledge of JVM, JVM diagnostic tools. Full understanding of object creation, garbage collection, and synchronization
Proficiency on java/j2ee architecture, APIs and Java-based technologies (EJB, Hibernate, servlets, jsps, etc).
Knowledge on Heap dumps, thread & GC analysis.
Knowledge on Unix/Linux and infrastructure
Evaluate potential application changes to improve efficiencies, emphasis in memory and performance optimization, contributing to code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, bug fixes.
Java performance analysis and bottleneck identification: Measurements, profilers. Identify the metrics to look for while analyzing a Java application/program for performance Requirements. Identify and eliminate performance issues/errors related to load
Responsible for performance-tuning applications, evaluating tools that make deploying and running applications faster, and working with software engineers to come up with suggestions for improving architecture for performance reasons
