Key Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities
1. To work on customer reported issues in the switch software
2. To work on reducing the defect backlog in the switch software
3. To carry out switch software qualification on the new hardware platforms developed by the lab
4. To investigate, design and implement new switch software features.

Mandatory skills
1. 3-7 years of Industrial experience
2. Strong programming skills in C or C
3. Experience in software development with a very good understanding of Operating System concepts. Working knowledge of OS\'s such as Unix, VxWorks, embedded Linux, GHS ..etc
4. Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills. Exposure to switch software debugging tools.
5. Experience working in the networking domain. This could be in any areas of either switching or routing. This could cover experience in layer2 switching protocols like STP/MSTP, MVRP, LACP, LLDP, DT, QinQ and layer3 routing protocols like RIP/OSPF/BGP.
Skills that can bring added advantage
1. Experience working in UI areas.
2. Knowledge of SNMP/MIB
3. Experience in switch software security areas
