Job Description :
The requirements are from the business aligned technology unit of a Multinational bank that supports the Front Office FX & Markets business of the bank which is one of the largest on the street by any measure.
The team defines, designs and develops:
Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Fixed Income, Derivatives application covering trading and risk management tools for Internal users
Multi-Assets, Multi Currency Online, Real-time eCommerce offering for the banks' corporate customers globally.
State of art pricing engine for multi-national bank's trading business in 80+ countries providing the tools to the traders across the globe for pricing 600+ currency pairs, streaming at milliseconds latency on pricing & dealing
Best-in-class CRM and Sales application to power the global Sales teams.
All these applications are developed in state of the art technology environment in highly scalable and high availability architecture.
Location: IT Highway, Perungudi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (India)
We require high caliber Java Developers with solid, hands-on experience. The candidates should have:
Thorough technical knowledge and applications of Core Java, J2EEE, JSP, Servlets and EJB, using Struts framework. Swing knowledge will be an advantage.
Thorough understanding of usage of the fundamental concepts like Exception Handling, Static block/variables/classes , OOPS concepts, Collections, Multi-Threading, http sessions, session handling, Servlets/JSP life cycle, JDBC, actions, events, implicit objects, custom tags, context
Exposure to an industry-standard database (Oracle or Sybase) on a UNIX platform.
Knowledge of the Concepts related to web logic, iPlanet, JBoss
Good written and spoken English with the ability to interact clearly and effectively with your teammates.
The candidates should have sound knowledge of the concepts and should be able to demonstrate application of the same in required scenarios.
The candidate who has worked on transactional applications will be better fit.
Any experience or knowledge of Treasury products (Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Fixed Income, and Derivatives) would be an advantage.
