Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2018-19
Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs invites applications from eligible candidates for 1,054 Security Assistant/Executive posts. Selected candidates will be recruited in Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaux, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Candidates who fulfills the eligibility criteria may apply online through MHA's website (www.mha.gov.in)or NCS Portal (www.ncs.gov.in) only. The last date to apply is November 10.

Eligibility criteria:
Candidates need to be matriculate or class 10 pass from a recognised board/university. Must have knowledge of any of the local languages as mentioned in the official advertisement for the recruitment.
Age limit:
The upper age limit is 27 years.
Steps to apply for Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2018-19
- Visit the official websites, mha.gov.in or ncs.gov.in
- Click on the link 'Online applications for the post of Security Assistant(Exe) in IB'
- Provide a valid e-mail ID and provide during the registration process
- Complete Part 1 (personal, academic and other particulars of the candidate) and Part 2 (payment of exam fee, if applicable) registration process
- Only one application needs to be submitted
- Candidates MUST preview the application to make sure that they have provided correct information before clicking Submit button
- Then Click Submit
Application fee:
Application fee is Rs 50. Only male candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to pay the fee.
The SC/ST, Ex-servicemen and female candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
Selection process
Selection process will be held in three Tiers.
Tier I: A written test comprising objective questions.
Tier II: A descriptive test and spoken ability test which will be assessed at the time of personal interview.
Tier III: Interview or personality test will be held.
