Job Description :
Newgen Software is looking for Java Developer. JOB DESCRIPTION The incumbent would be responsible for:
* Design, implement and deliver high quality S/W project in JAVA, JSP, Servlets, EJB, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JAXB-JAXP/XML, J2EE / SWING or other JAVA technologies/Frameworks.
* Using UI frameworks JQuery, Bootstrap, Spring MVC in development
* Should have used JUnit for unit testing, atleast one Build automation tool (Jenkins/Hudson) and build creation mechanism (ANT / Maven)
* Applying industry standard Design patterns such as OOP's, Multi-Tier S/W development, Component Architecture, etc. during Product development
* Write good, performance optimized queries using PL-SQL, Stored Procedures.
* Participate in every phase of SDLC, including SIT, QCT, Performance testing, Vulnerability testing
* Participate in detail level of coding, code walk through and unit testing of S/W modules.
* Ensuring the preparation of the following - System Architecture - External and Internal Specifications - Software Development Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Test Plan etc - Technical Documentation
* Should have excellent communication skills, excellent teamwork skills
* Ensure that the Coding guidelines and quality processes are in place and are followed.
DESIRED PROFILE The incumbent should be Engineering Degree in Computer Science/MCA(first class throughout) with 2.5 -4 years in S/W development across a wide variety of development projects. * Extensive experience on Java-J2EE related contemporary technologies and frameworks.
* Ability to gather and analyze data and draw logical conclusions, create status reports
* Experience in working and configuring multiple Application servers (JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere) and Databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
* Should have adequate programming skills and proficiency in Messaging middleware, Performance tuning.
PREFERRED SKILLS * Exposure to ECM Domain * Exposure to Big data and its associated tools and technologies (e.g. Hadoop etc.)
